Storyline
Plot Summary:Historical drama detailing the 1835-36 Texas revolution before, during, and after the famous siege of the Alamo (February 23-March 6, 1836) where 183 Texans (American-born Texans) and Tejanos (Mexican-born Texans) commanded by Colonel Travis, along with Davey Crockett and Jim Bowie, were besieged in an abandoned mission outside San Antonio by a Mexican army of nearly 2,000 men under the personal command of the dictator of Mexico, General Santa Anna, as well as detailing the Battle of San Jacinto (April 21, 1836) where General Sam Houston’s rag-tag army of Texans took on and defeated Santa Anna’s army which led to the indepedence of Texas.

Storyline
Plot Summary:The Venture, an old Trident nuclear submarine, has picked up an ancient and powerful artifact called the Hades Stones off the ocean floor and brought it onboard. THE STONEKEEPER, guardian of the Hades Stones who is sinister and powerful, is intent on destroying the sub survivors and taking them back through the portal. The stonekeeper and his stone demons attack, killing the entire Venture crew. The portal inside the Hades Stones fills the sub with the accursed souls of the past. A distress signal goes out from the submarine. Then nothing, no further contact.
Jack Bavaro, head of Interceptor Force, realises the Hades Stone and its demons may have taken over the sub and simply destroying the submarine with a torpedo won’t work. So now it’s a battle at the bottom of the ocean for the Phantom Force to destroy the Hades Stone and save the world from never-ending evil.

What type of paranormal being could this be? Now, I have a big interest in the paranormal (I don’t believe any of it, I just find it fascinating), and I like collecting stories from other people. Now, my friend told me his story one day and I’ve looked everywhere for classification of his alleged apparition, and I’ve come to a few ideas, but none that fit it in full detail. The being was described as being a disembodied face that resembled a phantom of the opera mask. As it was moving it looked like a purple face with body of fire which was prismatic. It was in his 2nd grade class, in the middle of instruction. It came in from the hallway and stopped at his section of the class. It’s mouth moved like it was saying something. My friend asked if anyone else saw this, but no one confirmed that they did. Anyway, I was just looking at bunch of things that I could find, and found some similarities of this and a Wil O the Wisp and Hitodama. Now, I’m looking for more possibilities of what this COULD be. I don’t want a "We don’t know about all the supernatural entities that could be out there" cop out. I’m ONLY looking for other choices in which to categorize this. I want names of these types of beings. Not experiences with something similar. Something to go off of and look into. Bad answer = Don’t mess with these spirits, these are forces you can’t understand blah blah blah. Good answer = Possible spirit. Best answer= Possible spirit and description of said spirit.

Can you please help me correct my Odyssey essay? It is due tomorrow.? I really need help trying to correct my paper. What is an epic hero? An epic hero is a main character in an epic that’s legendary or heroic actions are central to his or her culture, race, or nation. In the Odyssey, Odysseus portrays an epic hero with characteristics including bravery, intelligence, and strength. One example of an epic hero in Odysseus is bravery. He possesses a lot of bravery in many different situations. This is evident when he fights the god Poseidon, telling him he is unstoppable. Odysseus uses bravery with the Cyclops also. He talks, and offers wine to the Cyclops even though he knows he could be eaten like some of his other men. Then he blinds one of them. Another sign of bravery in Odysseus is when he risks his life to save his crew when Circe turned them into pigs. “From every side they came and sought the pit with rustling cries; and I grew sick with fear. But presently I gave command to my officers to flay those sheep the bronze cut down, and make burnt offerings of flesh to the gods below- to sovereign Death, to pale Persephone. Meanwhile I crouched with my drawn sword to keep the surging phantoms from the bloody pit till I should know the presence of Teiresias…” (Homer 558-606) In this quote Odysseus uses bravery in the underworld when he goes to speak with a prophet about how to get back to Ithaca. So you see being brave is all about being willing and able to go to the extremes to help or possibly save people or even a place in need. In the Odyssey, Odysseus does just that. A second example of an epic hero in Odysseus is intelligence. Odysseus uses his intelligence in the Odysseus numbers of times. Before his adventure home Odysseus uses his intelligence to capture Troy. He does this with the Trojan horse. Another case of intelligence is when Odysseus arrives home. He keeps a constant beggar’s disguise so that his wives suitors will not see him and try to kill him before he returns to his wife. “Cyclops you ask my honorable name? Remember the gift you promised me, and I shall tell you. My name is Nohbdy: mother, father, and friends, everyone calls me Nohbody.” (Homer 357-361) In this quote Odysseus shows yet another place with intelligence. After Odysseus and his men blind the Cyclops, he roars in pain. He tells the other Cyclops the “Nobody” hurt me, and the other Cyclops thinks it is a joke. Odysseus had to have great intelligence or he wouldn’t have made it home alive. A third example of an epic hero in Odysseus is strength. Odysseus uses his strength many times through out the Odyssey. He shows it by overcoming many of his enemies. Odysseus physically restrained his crew when they heard the Sirens. Another sign of strength is the bow contest. He strings, and shoots the bow where the other suitors could not. The best use of his strength was when he defeated the Cyclops. “I drew it from the coals and my four fellows gave me a hand, lugging it near the Cyclops as more than natural force nerved them; straight forward they sprinted, lifted it, and rammed it deep in his crater eye, and I leaned on it turning it as a shipwright turns a drill planking.” In this quote Odysseus show his strength by blinding the Cyclops. This let him get out of the cave and off the Cyclops Island alive. With everything that Odysseus does he uses his incredible strength to do so. Through bravery, intelligence, and strength Odysseus fits into the definition of an epic hero. Odysseus is able to do accomplish all of things he did and make his way home to his wife, Penelope, with the help of his guardian Athena. This is what makes Odysseus, in the Odyssey, an epic hero.

My friend and I have totally different taste in movies-Is there ANYTHING we can both enjoy? Ok, so the other night, my friend and I went to Hollywood Video to rent a movie or two; and very quickly discovered we had extremely different tastes.
Her favorites: The Princess Bride, Amazing Grace, The Pink Panther, and Emma. Mine: Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Barrels, Gosford Park, Gladiator, and Pride and Prejudice. She has very low tolerance for sex, violence, language, drug use and anything else a movie can be rated for-I’m easier; the only thing I can’t stand is stupidity (also gratuitous sex and excessive romantic "mushiness" lol). We both like period movies, especially BBC productions, and we ended up watching Emma.
So basically I’m asking, are there ANY movies out there that we can both watch and enjoy?

Storyline
Plot Summary:The wide generation gap between Tess Coleman (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her teenage daughter Anna (Lindsay Lohan) is more than evident. They simply cannot understand each other’s preferences. On a Thursday night they have a big argument in a Chinese restaurant. Both receive a fortune cookie each from the restaurant owner’s mother which causes them to switch bodies next day. As they adjust with their new personalities, they begin to understand each other more and eventually it’s the mutual self-respect that sorts the things out.
I am very shy and innocent. I don’t open up to people I don’t know well. I am only comfortable around my family and 3 friends. A lot of people say I am so pretty && adorable, but they say I’m freaky because I don’t talk. I feel like that’s all they ever talk about about me. I was invited to a slumber party last Friday, and I went. I thought I was gonna have a good time but I didn’t. All the girls were dancing and I was too shy to join them. We played truth or dare and they dared me to go outside wearing slutty shorts and a belly shirt. I said no and they got mad, they made me feel like a complete moron. So I left. And one day at school, these two boys threw something, and one of them blamed it on me, and the other boy said, "Don’t blame the innocent. She never does anything wrong." I thought it was nice that he said that but I felt so stupid.

Storyline
Plot Summary:In the final days of World War II, the Nazis attempt to use black magic to aid their dying cause. Which Comic Movies Were The Worst? We’ve all seen Spider-man, Superman, and the X-men. We’ve seen Hellboy, Daredevil, and even the multiple Batman movies. But what got under your skin? Personally, I HATE how in the Hellboy movies he ends up with Liz. Even worse she becomes pregnant in the second movie! How many times have they done that with sequels?! Storyline
Plot Summary:Part four in the Hannibal Lecter Quadrilogy. Having escaped the asylum in “Silence of the Lambs,” Dr Lecter goes into hiding in Florence, Italy. Back in America, Mason Verger, an old victim of the doctor’s, seeks revenge. Disfigured and confined to a life-support system, he plans to draw Lecter out of his hiding place, using the one thing he truly cares for: Clarice Starling.
It’s three of the most psychotic human horror villains against two of the biggest ba’s of Marvel Comics. The Punisher the ultimate crime destroyer, and Moon Knight. Punisher mocks Hannibal as a chickenshit pussy that doesn’t have the balls to take on larger opponents let alone ones that would present a challenge, and he’s a sneaky snake because he’s only been able to get his victims through ambush because he’s a out of shape fat oldman that has the worst hand to hand combat skills. Also that after he’s through with the three psycho’s they’ll be looking uglier than his disfigured archenemy Jigsaw.

Storyline

I live in North Phoenix and this is my 4th year in Arizona. I hate the summers in Phoenix Arizona. It is just too hot here. I am thinking of going up North to see how life is like over there. Here are the three cities that I am interested in Show Low, Payson, and Prescott. I need to know the averages high in temperature during the months of May to October in each of these areas and how sunny it is up there as compared to Phoenix. Also I am originally from New York. So I do love the city life. I like the lights and the action. I hate camping and I hate fishing and I certainly don’t like mountain climbing and I am not a big fan of forest trees and Pine Trees and such. I also have a strong hate for flies, mosquitoes, Grasshoppers, Crickets and other types of bugs. I think the reason we see a lot of these creatures in Phoenix is because it is too hot here. Anyways I need to know from the 3 cities above, which one has lots of shops and which one is more city like and which one has the least amount of bugs and the best temperatures especially this time of year. Why won’t my little tadpoles grow? I found about 15 tadpoles in a deep puddle in my yard. I put them in a giant pickle jar, filled with water from the pool and a lake I live next to. I feed them algae from the lake and boiled lettuce. Regularly, I sprinkle a few flakes of fish food in the jar. They were about a centimeter long when I found them, which was 2 weeks ago. They’ve only grown about 2 millimeters since I found them. Is this normal? Is the jar not big enough, and stunting their growth? What can I do to encourage growth?

My Fish tank is nuts, need help!!!!? I have a 10 gallon tank, cycled and with equipment(filter, heater etc..). my parents went crazy and bought me lots of fish, I have 8 common goldfish, 1 male and female guppy and 2 white skirt tetras that are blue. Anyways, when i got them they were all right together and the pet store person even said they were all compatible. ( I know they arn’t, i did tons of research). Then the next day, they turned bad. lol
the tetras are going after the goldfish, nipping and pushing them into corners, even if the goldfish are bigger. The female guppy, it appears she is kissing all of the goldfish and chasing them. The goldfish are teasing every fish in the tank, theres this one goldfish that is going around and around my small filter and when it gets to the top theres the tetra waiting for him. lol most of the goldfish are swimming in my bubbler and floating to the top then going back down. Help with pregnant guppy? Ok so I have a big mama, shes about 4 weeks pregnant and she was fine this morning but now i went to look at the fish tank and shes like at the very bottom of the tank behind a big rock…is she dying or is she giving birth or what?? Why does the new line on my fishing pole keep unraveling? I have a spinning reel pole and just put pretty good quality (new) line on it, however, upon casting and locking/unlocking the line, the line with spring off the top of the drag adjust knob like crazy. What is the reason? Is it put on poorly? The new line was on a much bigger cylinder when purchased and the spinning reel that is on my pole is smaller, so maybe its just adjusted to fit properly??? My fantail goldfish are spawning. What should I do? I recently put fresh water into my 55 gallon aquarium and treated it to make sure the PH level was good. This was yesterday. After I set the filter back up and made sure everything was okay, I noticed they seemed a lot more energetic. Today, the two male fish one an orange fantail, the other a Black Moor, are chasing my white female around the tank. I’ve read this is a chase that happens before spawning. What should I do? I would like to keep the eggs and hatch the fry, but I’m not sure how to do that. Should I remove the eggs or leave them in the tank? Will they eat them? The fish are close to 3 years old and quite big. Thank you for your help.

Storyline
Plot Summary:Young Danny Madigan is a big fan of Jack Slater, a larger-than-life action hero played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Resolved Question: Assalamu-alaikum Ramadan Peoples. What do you think about:? I am a fictional story writer and I was just thinking of a new story. It reminded me of one of my older stories that I wrote last Ramadan. You see, I noticed there aren’t many Muslim characters in stories or cartoons nowadays unless they’re supposed to be terrorrist or somebody meets some MUslims on their show and learns to not be judgemental. I noticed that you hardly find a Muslim main character. I’ve always been a superhero type storywriter so of course i looked to the "superhero" world to find Muslim heroes. While there were a few of them, they weren’t really pleasing. People’s ideas of Muslims are either that they are terrorists, or that they are all Arabs or African Americans. This annoys me because the whole "to be Muslim means you’re Arab" thing is racist. And when people here about African American Muslims they usually think about either some "nation of islam" clown (note: N.O.I has nothing to do with the true religion of Islam!) or some slacker gang banging guy who just likes the idea of being Muslim. Now, I mean no offense to Arabs or African-Americans, i happen to be an African American and i have been put under one of those stereotypes. So in my stories, i try to show people all different races of Muslims, including but not limited to: Europeans, Asians, Australians, Hispanics, Africans, and all the minor races these races contain (example: you can be french, which makes you european but being european doesn’t mean you’re french). So, in this story the characters are African Americans. Matt flipped off the roof onto the ground as his greatest foe yet followed close behind. A sneaky, shadowy figure was on his tail. He was too powerful to face, and he had Matt’s greatest allies under his control. Matt stood no chance of fighting. As he looked back, Matt tripped over a bowl of rice. “Matt,” the villain called out. “Matt!” the voice grew closer. “Matt! It’s time for you to face your doom! It’s time for you to face your doom! It’s time for you to get up! Get up!” Matt opened his eyes to see his impatient mother standing over him with a cup of water. She was just about to pour it on him when he rolled over to avoid getting wet. “Get up Matt,” she demanded as she looked down at him. “It’s time for sahЕrr.” SahЕrr is a pre-dawn meal that Muslims eat during the Holy month of Ramadan so that they may fast throughout the day. Ramadan is the ninth month on the Islamic calendar. It is during this month that Muslims abstain from food, and water from the break of dawn until sunset. Each year, over one billion Muslims get up before dawn to eat and drink while they can, so that they can survive through the day. During this month, they take extra time for family, inner reflection, and spiritual growth. Muslims are called upon to use this month to re-evaluate their lives in light of Islamic guidance. They are to make peace with those who have wronged them , strengthen ties with family and friends, do away with bad habits — essentially to clean up their lives, their thoughts, and their feelings. The Arabic word for "fasting" (sawm) literally means "to refrain" – and it means not only refraining from food and drink, but from evil actions, thoughts, and words. During Ramadan, every part of the body must be restrained. The tongue must be restrained from backbiting and gossip. The eyes must restrain themselves from looking at unlawful things. The hand must not touch or take anything that does not belong to it. The ears must refrain from listening to idle talk or obscene words. The feet must refrain from going to sinful places. In such a way, every part of the body observes the fast. Fasting is regarded as a method of spiritual cleansing. By cutting oneself from worldly comforts, a fasting person gains true sympathy for the less fortunate who cannot afford to eat daily. They also gain growth in their spiritual life. Fasting during Ramadan is the fourth pillar of Islam. So it is obligatory on every Muslim, after they’ve reached the age of puberty. Matt recalled standing up the previous night looking for the moon. The new moon meant that the month of Sha’ban
ended and it was time for Ramadan. Now Matt was on his way to the kitchen to eat and drink some water so that he could fast. As he passed through the front room he saw his father on the other side making Nuwafils (extra prayers). His sister was sitting at the table eating a bowl of left over red curry. He watched her enjoy the deliciousness of the spicy, saucy meat over the white rice. He walked into the kitchen and washed his hands and face three times. Then he brushed his teeth with his miswak (a natural toothbrush made from the twigs of the Arak tree). Afterwards he grabbed a plate and got himself a serving of the mouth-watering curry. He took a cup of water with him and sat at the table. He said bismillah (in the name of Allah) and began eating. He ate quickly because he only had a little bit of time before the break of dawn. His father finished his Nuwafils and joined him at the table with his own plate of food. His mother had already eaten to her fill and went to lie down u

Moments later Matt got up to make Wudu (ablution as preparation for ritual prayers and for handling and reading the Qur’an). He first said bismillah, then washed his hands, and then he washed his face. After that he washed his arms from hands down to his elbows, starting with the right arm first. After he’d washed his arms he wiped his head with the water. Finally he washed his feet, right foot first. He got dressed in his thobe and turban before returning back to the front room. He stood in the middle of the room as he prepared to call the adhan (the Muslim call to prayer).
